Financial Consultant

33 Years Old

Married

At just 33, Phay Wei Jie—better known as Zee—is the youngest member of the NSP Tampines team. A proud husband and father, it’s his role as a parent that fuels his passion for change.

Zee’s journey has been anything but typical. He started at sea, where he learned discipline, structure, and how to stay steady through life’s storms. For the past 5 years, he’s been a financial consultant with AEPP and AFP certifications. In daily conversations with Singaporeans from all walks of life, he’s seen the impact of rising costs, job insecurity, and the silent stress many carry. Most importantly, he’s learned to truly listen.

Despite his achievements, Zee remains grounded—raised by parents who taught him never to forget his roots. Today, he leads a growing team of financial advisors, but his focus remains on people, not profit.

His community work reflects that: from raising funds for a children’s home in the Philippines to volunteering with the Down Syndrome Association and doing house visits in Kampong Glam, Zee shows up where help is needed. He doesn’t just speak for people—he stands with them. Having grown up in financial hardship, Zee understands what it feels like to fall through the cracks. That experience drives his determination to ensure no fellow Singaporean is left behind.

“For the longest time, I sat on this idea of stepping forward. Now feels like the right time,” he says. Zee is especially passionate about supporting young families, drawing from his own experience as a parent who understands the real costs of raising a child in Singapore. While government incentives and parental leave provide some relief, they often fall short—particularly for families without extended support or access to affordable infant care. He also believes that early childhood educators play a vital role and deserve far more recognition and support. Zee advocates for raising their salaries, attracting more qualified professionals, supporting their mental health, and ultimately improving the quality of care for every child.

Zee also champions practical financial literacy—not just “save more” advice, but real understanding of CPF, budgeting, and financial stability. He proposes making financial literacy an elective in tertiary institutions because:  “People can’t change their lives if they don’t know how.”

Tampines is where Zee grew up, and it’s close to his heart. He connects with young families in Tampines North—many of whom remind him of his own beginnings. During walkabouts, he listens to their concerns and reminds them: “You’re not alone.”

Zee brings energy, empathy, and quiet strength. Not loud promises—just real conversations and genuine commitment. He wants to build a Singapore where no one slips through the cracks, young families get the support they need, and everyone has a fair chance to thrive.

Let’s do this together.

Your Future, Our Priority.”
