Ridzwan is a seasoned director of an engineering and construction firm, bringing decades of hands-on experience in the building industry. As a specialist in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), he has contributed to shaping safer work environments and served on two national safety taskforces, demonstrating his commitment to safeguarding workers and residents alike. His expertise in construction and safety management is complemented by advanced studies, including a Diploma in Building, an Advanced Diploma in Safety Management, and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management from RMIT.

 

Beyond his professional achievements, Ridzwan actively serves in estate management roles within his MCST, from Treasurer to Chairman. These roles have deepened his understanding of communal living, estate upkeep, and resident engagement, equipping him with practical insights to better serve the needs of residents.

 

A passionate supporter of Malay-Muslim culture, Ridzwan actively participates in cultural and religious activities. His recent theatre performance at The Esplanade, depicting the story of Sri Wikrama Wira, reflects his dedication to cultural preservation and social cohesion. He believes that cultural identity and unity are vital for a harmonious society.

 

Having balanced career growth and family life through challenging times, Ridzwan is a firm advocate for greater support for hardworking individuals striving to improve their quality of life. He believes that everyone deserves opportunities to succeed, and he is committed to championing policies that empower families and communities.

 

Ridzwan has been actively involved with the National Solidarity Party (NSP) for several years, contesting in Tampines GRC in 2020. His political journey is driven by a steadfast commitment to inclusive progress, accountability, and grassroots empowerment. As a candidate for Tampines GRC, he aims to bring practical experience, cultural insights, and genuine community ties to serve residents with integrity, compassion, and dedication.
